DESCRIPTION:You don’t want to miss this event\, as we bring our community together to raise awareness for people with Down syndrome with a Picnic in the Park. Join DS Action\, Down Syndrome Association of San Diego\, and Gigi’s Playhouse – San Diego on Sunday\, March 19th to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2023 in San Diego. \nWe are excited to enjoy some long-awaited\, “in-person” FUN! It’s a B.Y.O.P. – Bring Your Own Picnic. Please bring chairs\, blankets\, shade cover\, sunscreen and your favorite picnic food & beverage items. We will provide the FUN and ENTERTAINMENT. Enjoy music\, activities\, dancing\, see familiar faces and meet new friends. \nPlease be sure to register for this FREE event by March 18th. Thank you for your cooperation. \nWe have reserved a large space at Nobel Athletic Fields and Recreation Center in University City (Nobel and the 805) at the field nearest the playground and basketball court. \nLooking forward to seeing everyone’s smiling faces on Sunday\, March 19th!
