SUMMARY:Point Loma Nazarene University's 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt - 2023
DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us on Tuesday\, April 4th\, from 4:30pm – 7:00pm\, as Point Loma Nazarene University hosts the 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Parent Reception for DS Action Families.  Come out and enjoy this FREE event.  You MUST register to attend\, as space is limited. \nREGISTER HERE – Space is limited \nThis event is for individuals with Down syndrome (of all ages) and their immediate families. \nPLNU students will offer families support by engaging children and individuals with Down syndrome in fun activities\, getting refreshments and the main event… the Easter Egg Hunt. This will provide parents/caregivers time to relax and talk with each other. \nIMPORTANT NOTE:  The Easter Egg Hunt Activity will be for all persons with Down syndrome and siblings (only up to 12 years of age).  Also\, there will be some coordination changes so that all involved in the activity have an opportunity to collect eggs for their baskets. \nPlease be sure to RSVP by March 30th\, as we need to know how many adults and children will be attending.  There is a limit to the number of total guests\, due to the available space at the location.  We look forward to seeing you there! \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Sharla Hank at sharla.hank@dsaction.com or (619) 694-4615.

DESCRIPTION:You don’t want to miss this event\, as we bring our community together to raise awareness for people with Down syndrome with a Picnic in the Park. Join the Down Syndrome Association of San Diego\, DS Action\, and Gigi’s Playhouse – San Diego on Sunday\, March 20th to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2022 in San Diego. \nWe are excited to enjoy some long-awaited\, “in-person” FUN! It’s a B.Y.O.P. – Bring Your Own Picnic. Please bring chairs\, blankets\, shade cover\, sunscreen and your favorite picnic food & beverage items. We will provide the FUN and ENTERTAINMENT. Enjoy music\, activities\, dancing\, see familiar faces and meet new friends. \nPlease be sure to register for this FREE event by March 19th. Thank you for your cooperation. \nCheck-in between 1 pm – 4 pm at the registration area\, before setting up your family/group’s picnic area.
