World Down Syndrome Celebration 2023 – San Diego

You don’t want to miss this event, as we bring our community together to raise awareness for people with Down syndrome with a Picnic in the Park. Join DS Action, Down Syndrome Association of San Diego, and Gigi’s Playhouse – San Diego on Sunday, March 19th to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 2023 in San Diego.

We are excited to enjoy some long-awaited, “in-person” FUN! It’s a B.Y.O.P. – Bring Your Own Picnic. Please bring chairs, blankets, shade cover, sunscreen and your favorite picnic food & beverage items. We will provide the FUN and ENTERTAINMENT. Enjoy music, activities, dancing, see familiar faces and meet new friends.

We have reserved a large space at Nobel Athletic Fields and Recreation Center in University City (Nobel and the 805) at the field nearest the playground and basketball court.
