Sexuality, Puberty & Dating for Individuals with I/DD


We are pleased to welcome back Special Guest Speaker Terri Couwenhoven, MS, CSE—author, educator, and parent—for an engaging and informative seminar. Terri is dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and the people who care for them.
Since 1996, Terri has served as Clinic Coordinator for the Down Syndrome Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She shares her expertise nationally through conference presentations and collaborations with a wide range of organizations.
In this session, Terri will explore adolescence, puberty, relationships, and dating, offering practical, respectful, and developmentally appropriate guidance to better support individuals with I/DD.
This seminar is recommended for parents, caregivers, and professionals in the community.
