World Down Syndrome Day Celebration 2026 in San Diego

You don’t want to miss this event, as we bring our community together, with a Picnic in the Park, to celebrate and raise awareness for people with Down syndrome.

We are excited to see everyone for an afternoon of FUN! It’s a B.Y.O.P. – Bring Your Own Picnic. Please bring chairs, blankets, shade cover, sunscreen and your favorite picnic food & beverage items. We will provide the FUN and ENTERTAINMENT. Enjoy music, activities, dancing, see familiar faces and meet new friends.

Please be sure to register for this FREE event by March 16th. Thank you for your cooperation.

Check-in between 1 pm – 4 pm at the registration area, before setting up your family/group’s picnic area. We have reserved a large space at Nobel Athletic Fields and Recreation Center in University City (Nobel and the 805) at the field nearest the playground and basketball court.
